Web Search

Jardic Pro can send requests to Web-dictionaries and Web search engines to search for word translations or for other information related to words.

Web search functions can be selected from context menu activated by right-clicking in:

When you click "Web Search" menu item, the program displays drop-down menu containing the list of sites, like: Google, Wikipedia, etc. Results of Web request are displayed in a Web browser which is default for current computer, like Internet Explorer or FireFox.

If Web search function is activated in the window containing a list of words, Jardic Pro will send a request about a word related to current list item.

If Web search function is activated in the entry field, Jardic Pro will send a request about selected text. You should select a word or kanji before performing this command.

If Web search function is activated in the article window, Jardic Pro will send a request about a text selected in the dictionary article. You should select a word or kanji in the article text before performing this command.

If Web search function is activated in the article editor, Jardic Pro will send a request about heading word of the article.
